Secret Presented Unforgetable Gift for Secret Time

Secret Returns to Singapore To Meet Fans For Their First Ever Fan Meeting.

After 2 years, Secret finally returns to the land of chilli crab! The 4 bubbly members were very excited to be back, and they shared with us more about them, from what they have been up to on their last trip here, to what concepts they wanted to do in the future.

From powerful strong songs to sweet girly charms, Secret rocks out every single concept that they have been putting out so far. Fans got to see it for the first time, as Secret opened with two of their hit songs, Poison and Madonna. With no fancy screens, props, or videos to distract the audience, the stage was barely enough to contain the energy from the girls as they danced their way into our hearts.

Audience members then had a chance to submit their questions for Secret to answer them. After introducing themselves individually, Secret got down to revealing a more personal side to them. Sunhwa shocked all of us as she greeted the audience in Chinese and a hardcore fan in the audience screamed back “Ni Hen Piao Liang” (Chinese for you are very pretty).
Sunhwa shared the good news of her winning to awards recently for her acting, to which the crowd congratulated her, chanting “Gong Xi Gong Xi” (Chinese for Congrats!) in unison.

Hyo Seong proudly revealed that she wrote two songs from her previous album. “I have just finished promotions in Japan, and I am very happy now”, the gorgeous leader was grinning from ear to ear and she addressed the audience.

Hana excitedly asked if the crowd had seen her latest drama, Jumping Girl, and Ji Eun also butted in with her drama stint, following by her collaboration with TS Entertainment’s Sleepy.
Despite the small, intimate audience, the emcee took note of the extremely vocal fans who took every chance to make their presence known and praise the girls. 8 lucky fans were also brought up on the stage to play games with the girls and stand a chance to win a group photo.

Secret also shared the future concepts that they individually wished to try in the future, with Hana wanting to put on a suit to a more manly style whilst Hyo Seong had her eye on a punk concept.

When the emcee asked members who would be the first to marry, Ji Eun immediately responded, “Hyo Seong unni!”, whilst Hana interjected, “I pick me. I think for women its better to have a longer and loving relationship.”
The girls also had a mini-singing competition to see who could hit the highest note, and they could reach pretty high falsettos, impressing the audience.
Other songs from their repertoire included Shy Boy and Yoo Hoo, and Secret executed all the moves cutely in sync. Bordering on girly cute charm, it is no wonder that the group has both female and male fans.

When asked about their time experienced in Singapore, members revealed how much impact that local fans had impacted them. Ji Eun says, “Girl fans are usually very shy, but not Singapore fans!” While Hana promises to work hard for many of her fans.
Of course, as this wasn’t their first time in Singapore, the emcee had to ask about the group’s previous experience here, and what they enjoyed. Hyo Seong had chilli crab (“Of course it was very delicious!”), and visited the SG flyer (“The view was so pretty up there.”). Hana told of her exploration of Marina Bay Sands. “I went there for sight-seeing, but I didn’t get to swim”, to which the emcee cheekily replied, “Tell us the next time you go there to swim then, we will join you!”

After another round of questions, Secret finished off with ‘Together’, with fans all holding up banners with “I love Secret” printed on it. Everyone was re-energised by Secret’s charming and delightful songs, and the night regretfully came to an end after each of the girls said their teary goodbyes and waved to the audience. Sunhwa managed to get her hands on one of the “I love Secret” banners and was waving it around, and Hyo Seong donned an Elmo headband that a fan tossed onto the stage.

Just as we hope Secret to stay just a little bit longer, I’m sure that Secret would like to return here again soon!

Many thanks to Biz Trends Media and Unleash Productions for granting us passes to Secret’s 1st Fan Meeting in Asia, as well as RWS.

SAM’s 5th Single featuring M.L.A.’s pak.one

[ Seoul, South Korea June 23, 2015] SAM released his long awaited new single album Callin’ Me today. SAM’s 5th single album releases around the world after an almost two month hiatus. SAM’s 3rd album which was released on February 22,2015 hit the top 10 on MBC’s Radio charts and was a recommended song by thePDs on MBC Radio. With the arrival of SAM’s 4th Single “Wish I Never Had”, SAMperformed live on SBS’s “The Show” for his fans in China and South Korea as wellas Arirang’s “Simply KPop”. For his 5th single “Callin’ Me”, he will be lessening his live performances in order to focus his efforts on the completion of his 1st full album by the end of this year.

As CHITWN MUSIC draws a strong influence from international hiphop music, SAM’s newest album shows a transition towards his musical roots. The tone of 3rd and 4th album have a more ballad-esque feel while “Callin’ Me” shows a different color from his preceding songs. SAM hopes to show his fans his versatility in his music by using different sounds and styles. Fans can continue to expect diverse genres of music from SAM and CHITWN MUSIC in the future.

SAM’s soulful 4th album "Wish I Never Had" won the heart of his female fans. On this album, SAM aims for the audience of his male fans with “Callin’ Me”. At the base of this song is a harp along with a vintage electric piano combined with a trap beat which creates hiphop beats.

With the featuring of Mint Lab Astronauts’ pak.one, this hiphop song showcases SAM’s ever soulful vocals along with the outstanding rapping abilities of pak.one which complement each other very well.

“Callin’ Me” is produced and composed by SAM and pak.one. They combined their talents to create a song that speaks to the imaginations of the male community. The behind story being about a girl that sits next to SAM on a bus and catches SAM’s attention. The attraction can only be described with the phrase “Love at first sight”. This song expresses SAM’s emotions while waiting for her phone call.

This is the second time the two artists have collaborated. The first being in SAM’s 2 single album “Tonight” in which pak.one was also featured. The two have a long history as childhood friends.

With SAM looking towards his first full album by the end of the year, the hopes are high that pak.one will be a part of SAM’s first full album as well. As SAM prepares for his full album, CHITWN MUSIC is preparing their next artist, K.SHIN for his debut single album. The album is due to be released at the end of the summer of 2015. It aims for the international Asian market. Production is being done through partnerships and collaborations from many different countries.

BTS Might End Up Debuted With Different Group Name

  • 0

BTS talked about their prior debut that they might be debuted with different group name.

On the broadcast of Mnet’s “Yaman TV,” they stated that there were other names that might be choosen before they decided on ‘Bangtan Boys.’

During the broadcast, one of the MCs asked, “What’s the meaning of ‘Bangtan Boys?’” J-Hope replied, “The meaning of ‘bangtan’ is to guard against something. So our name means that we will boldly defend our music and our value/worth.”

The MCs then gave another question, “’Bangtan’ doesn’t have anything to with the last name Bang?” referring to Bang Si Hyuk, producer and CEO of Big Hit Entertainment. Suga responded, “Some people think that our name means ‘Boys Created by Bang Si Hyuk,’ but that’s not true.”

When they were asked what other names suggested before ‘Bangtan Boys,’ the members laughed and shared, “There was ‘Big Kids’ because our agency is ‘Big Hit,’ ‘Young Nation,’ and more.” After telling these possible names, J-Hope commented, “Hearing these other names makes me think that ‘Bangtan Boys’ is a lot better,” causing laughter.

Meanwhile BTS is preparing for their follow up promotion with "Dope/Sick". The music video will be released on June 24.
